Alan Walden Wins Helen Thomas Award
Alan Walden (WNEW 1964 - 1970) is the 2005 winner of the Helen Thomas Award for Lifetime Achievement, presented by the Society of Professional Journalists in honor of long-time White House correspondent, Helen Thomas. The 2004 winner was Tom Brokaw. The award is to be presented during the Society's Convention and National Journalism Conference in Las Vegas in October.
